            Process & Challenges

            Process:

Data Collection: Aerial imagery was collected and prepared for processing.

Mosaic Creation: Initial orthophoto mosaic was generated from the collected imagery.

Correction: Automated lines in the mosaic were corrected to address issues with building edges, bridge edges, moving objects, and infrastructure.

Overlap Adjustment: Ensured adequate overlap between images to maintain continuity.

Distortion Fixing: Used PhotoShop to correct distortions in images, such as those affecting bridges, buildings, and tracks.

Final Review: Conducted a final review to ensure the accuracy and quality of the orthophoto mosaic.

            Challenges:

During the project implementation, the team faced the following challenges:

Correction of mosaic lines: Ensuring accurate correction of automatic mosaic lines to prevent errors on the edges of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.

Processing of moving objects: Addresses issues with moving objects and their shadows that can prevent images from being stitched together correctly.

Image overlap: Ensures proper overlap between images to maintain continuity and avoid tearing in the mosaic.

Distortion correction: Correcting distortions of bridges, buildings, and roads to ensure that the final mosaic accurately reflects the geographic area.

Image editing: Using PhotoShop to correct visual distortions and inaccuracies in the orthophoto mosaic.

            Result

The project successfully produced a high-quality 2D orthophoto mosaic that accurately represents the surveyed area. All corrections were applied to address overlaps, distortions, and moving objects, resulting in a seamless and detailed orthophoto.
